Du Li's Story of Resilience

"Du Li was in college studying computer science until she found out she had contracted Hepatitis B. She felt so damaged that she left school and eventually decided she was only good for work as a prostitute. We met her through our outreach program and helped her with medical advice and support. Newly married, she is now working for our partner center as part of the administration team and looking forward to a wonderful future."

Committed Heart Necklace

This gold plated necklace with a heart-shaped pendant is made by the partner center where we met Du Li. 
The inner heart of this pendant is given to a woman who still needs saving from exploitation, giving hope that someday soon, she will also be free.
