"Hummingbirds shouldn't be able to fly." said a man walking towards me. "If you look at their body structure, the size of their bodies compared to the size of their wings, a hummingbird being able to fly would seem to be aerodynamically impossible." When considering their body structure, the size of their bodies compared to the size of their wings, a hummingbird actually being able to fly seems remarkable. In spite of overwhelming challenges, the women and men that make Made for Freedom products exhibit incredible resilience to not only move forward in life but to thrive. To recognize their challenges and power in overcoming them, we have documented stories of resilience.
