Labor trafficking is a form of human trafficking where individuals are exploited for work through force, fraud, or coercion. Victims often lose control over their employment, living conditions, and finances. This underreported crime occurs across many industries—like agriculture, manufacturing, and domestic work—and disproportionately affects people facing vulnerabilities such as poverty, immigration status, gender inequality, and lack of support systems. Addressing labor trafficking requires a holistic approach that tackles root causes and empowers survivors. Made for Freedom combats trafficking through dignified employment, survivor support, and educational opportunities.

If you suspect trafficking, contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text 233733.
