When Dove lost his job in Dubai during COVID-19, he grasped at a new opportunity that promised hope—but instead found himself betrayed, trafficked, and held captive for months in a scam compound in Myanmar. Forced into online fraud and threatened at gunpoint, he clung to his faith, praying daily for rescue.
Against all odds, Dove escaped—only to face imprisonment for immigration violations. Even behind bars, he refused to give up hope. With the support of our partner center, he was finally freed and able to return home.
