Fashion Revolution 2015
In 2015 Made for Freedom celebrated Fashion Revolution by hosting a Fashion Revolution Celebration and a Fashion Design Competition. In conjunction with Fashion Revolution, and to encourage conscious consumption, Made for Freedom hosted an ethical shopping celebration at TechArtista (4818 Washington Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63108 in the Central West End). Ethical shopping, a fashion show, food, music and more were available at this free, family-friendly event. Blissoma, Inali, Made for Freedom, Partners for Just Trade, Perennial, Plowsharing Crafts, SoLuna, Zee Bee Market and many others were selling ethically made products.
Fashion Design Competition March 12 – April 10, 2015:
Designers of all ages and skill levels were invited to design and create a women's garment to complement MFF’s signature Creabeli pants. Designers from all over the world participated by creating a garment to be outfitted with the Creabeli pants, or an original garment with a similar boho-chic style. Prize money, recognition and a chance to be included in an upcoming collection, winners were anounced at the Fashion Revolution Celebration.
