CREABELI is taken from CREating A BEautiful LIfe and that's what our products are doing. Each item we sell represents a dignified job for a woman that might otherwise be in a vulnerable situation.
Our products are made by sex trafficking survivors and those marginalized by society.
Your purchase provides a dignified job which allows women to support themselves, their families and contribute to their communities.
Most victims of human trafficking are women forced into sexual exploitation, stemming from two root causes that enable widespread sex trafficking:
1) the lack of financial independence
2) the devaluation of women and girls
While there is no panacea for the tentacles of sex trafficking, when girls and women are provided with the life skills, job training and opportunities for dignified employment with a living wage, their level of vulnerability decreases in direct relation to their financial independence and value to the community.
MFF contracts with multiple sewing centers that work with trafficking survivors and marginalized women around the world to manufacture apparel while providing dignified employment, such as New Life Center, Freeset and ABAN.
