Nothing New

I have so many friends that love to go thrifting and love to repurpose old clothes. I used to think that fashionable people didn't buy used clothes or didn't wear old clothes but that is just so wrong. All fashion will eventually come back in style so of course you can find fashionable clothes at a resale shop and they're always going to be cheaper than buying new. And you could brag that it's vintage. ;)

So you can look stylish and still save money, who wouldn't want to do that? It's also a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and be an ethical consumer. I recently watched a TED talk featuring Jessi Arrington, a designer, who packed nothing but 7 pairs of underwear for a week long trip. She took to local thrift stores to find her outfits for the week, almost all of which were under $50.
